On 8-9th November, almost 100 Hungarian high-school students came together in Budapest to brainstorm and find business solutions for the challenge “How to make your school and its environment more sustainable”? Teams had speed-dating sessions with business mentors and they learnt about how to make a winning pitch. Among the 18 mentors there was IT developer, environmental expert, business advisor and some of them came from other diverse areas such as renewable energy, innovation, product development and communication.

The best 4 ideas were the following:

  • Manufacturing paper from leaves & grass
  • Sustainable heating system
  • Application which fosters solutions and changing behaviour to mitigate climate change
